How We Rate
This page explains how we gather and check information about Tucan, what we look at, and why each point matters to a player in Great Britain. The same method applies to every page on the site.
Where the information comes from
We rely on documents the operator publishes. We do not use rumours, forum claims or unverified third-party lists as a source of facts.
- The operator's own website and its help pages
- Bonus terms and conditions for each offer
- The general terms and conditions
- Payment and withdrawal pages
- The licence register of the regulator named by the operator
If a fact cannot be found in these places, we leave it out or say that it is not confirmed. We prefer a gap to a guess.
What we check and why it matters
Each point below affects the money, time or safety of a player in GB. Tucan is used here only as an example of what gets checked, not as a verdict.
We note which licence the operator states and whether the terms limit access by country. For example, the fact card lists a Curacao licence and a list of restricted countries. A GB player needs to read both before anything else. Our safety page covers this in detail.
A large headline figure says little. We look at the wagering multiple, minimum deposit, maximum bet while a bonus is active, and expiry. These decide how much of a bonus a player can realistically use. See the bonus guide for how this is applied.
We list deposit and withdrawal methods, minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal and daily or weekly caps. Limits can matter more than speed when a player wins a larger sum. Details sit on the payments page.
We record the game count, the named software providers and the live dealer provider. We note which support channels exist. We also check for responsible gambling policies, outside help links and player tools such as limits. If a tool cannot be verified on the site, we say so.
When sources disagree
Operators sometimes show different figures on different pages. A wagering requirement may appear as one number in a promotion banner and another in the full terms.
- The specific bonus terms or payment page take priority over general text.
- The full terms and conditions take priority over banners and summaries.
- If the conflict remains, we show both figures and state that they differ.
- We advise players to confirm the figure with support before depositing.
We do not pick the more attractive number, and we do not hide a contradiction.
How often pages are re-checked
Casino terms change without notice, so no page is final. We re-check pages against the sources above and update them when we find a difference. Each page should be read as accurate to the sources at the time of checking, not as a guarantee of current terms.
If you notice something out of date, tell us. We will compare it with the operator's published documents before changing anything.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment to change, soften or remove facts.
- We do not present opinions as verified data.
- We do not claim tests, interviews or experience we cannot show.
- We do not encourage anyone to gamble.
Gambling carries financial risk. If it stops being enjoyable, help is available from BeGambleAware and GamCare.
